Local Elections on Thursday 4 May 2023 - remember your photo ID

Local Elections are taking place across England on Thursday 4 May 2023 including local council mayoral and parish elections.

Voter Booklet - this guide from the Electoral Commission includes everything you need to know about photo ID for the May elections.

At these elections, you will need to bring photo ID to be able to vote at a polling station.

A passport
Driving Licence (including a provisional licence)
Proof of Age (Identity card with a PASS mark (Proof of Age Standards Scheme)
Certain concessionary travel cards
