New defibrillator for emergency use at the Percy Arms

One of the new defibrillators provided by Chilworth2gether with proceeds from the Chilworth Manor “Pimms and Picnic” event, is now operational and available for use in an emergency.

The defibrillator is located on the outside of the Percy Arms, on a side wall immediately facing the Car Park, so it is very good for access.

This second defibrillator for Chilworth will serve the St Martha side of the railway crossing, Blackheath neighbours, the station and the pub itself. It is registered with the emergency services. By dialling 999, the emergency services will identify the nearest defibrillator and give you the access code if appropriate.

The other operational defibrillator is located at the Chilworth Village Hall. A third, situated in Hornhatch at St Martha’s Court, will be ready soon.
