On 4th April 2020, the Government brought The Local Authorities (Coronavirus) (Flexibility of Local Authority Meetings) (England) Regulations 2020 into force to allow local authorities to conduct meetings remotely. Until further notice all meetings will be held remotely.

All Council meetings are public meetings, with the agenda published on our website three clear days before the meeting. The public is invited to make representation at the beginning of each meeting.
These are held in the Chilworth Church of England Infant School every month on a Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. Decisions can only be made on agenda items. If any member of the public wishes for an item to be included on the Agenda, please contact the Clerk at least one week before the meeting. The February, June, October and December meeting will be held specifically to agree a recommendation to Guildford Borough Council on any planning application(s) received. If there are no applications to consider and no other urgent business to be discussed, the meeting will not take place.

The administrative year starts in May with the Annual meeting of the Parish Council, when appointments are made of Councillors to positions of responsibility within the Council. The Chairman and Vice- Chairman are elected, and members are assigned to its various Committees.
This is a statutory meeting, arranged by the Parish Council, for the electors of the parish to meet to discuss issues of interest within the parish. There is no prearranged or published agenda, and may or may not be Chaired by the Chairman of the Parish Council. Minutes are taken and presented and approved at the meeting next year. No decisions will be binding on the Council, but issues raised may be referred to a Council meeting for consideration. The meeting must take place between 1st March and the 1st June.
