If, as a member of the public, you wish to join any of the meetings, or put a question to Council, please contact the Clerk – [email protected] or telephone: 07976 778864 at least two days before the meeting date.

All Council meetings are public meetings, with the agenda published on our website three clear days before the meeting. The public is invited to make representation at the beginning of each meeting.

Full Council Meeting

Dates of scheduled meetings to be held in Chilworth Village Hall:

Tuesday 9th July 2024 at 7 p.m. Tuesday 3rd September 2024 at 7 p.m. Tuesday 8th October 2024 at 7 p.m. Tuesday 12th November 2024 at 7 p.m. Tuesday 17th December 2024 at 7 p.m.

The date of the 2025 Annual Meeting of the Parish Council will be announced early in 2025.

The administrative year starts in May with the Annual meeting of the Parish Council, when appointments are made of Councillors to positions of responsibility within the Council. The Chairman and Vice- Chairman are elected, and members are assigned to its various Committees.

Annual Assembly of the Parish

This is a statutory meeting, arranged by the Parish Council, for the electors of the parish to meet to discuss issues of interest within the parish. There is no prearranged or published agenda, and may or may not be Chaired by the Chairman of the Parish Council. Minutes are taken and presented and approved at the meeting next year. No decisions will be binding on the Council, but issues raised may be referred to a Council meeting for consideration. The meeting must take place between 1st March and the 1st June.
The date of the 2025 Annual Assembly will be announced early in 2025.
